Yellowknife Vineyard is a Christ-centred church seeking to follow Jesus together in the heart of the North. We are a community made up of people from many different backgrounds, cultures, and stages of faith who are learning to love God, love people, and share the hope of Jesus in everyday life. Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are exploring faith for the first time, or are simply looking for a church to call home, you are welcome here.
We are part of the Vineyard family of churches, a movement committed to following Jesus, loving our neighbours, and welcoming the work of the Holy Spirit. We value authentic worship, biblical teaching, prayer, compassion, and creating spaces where people can grow in faith and build meaningful relationships.
Yellowknife is unlike anywhere else in Canada. People come here from across the country and around the world, often for only a season. Our church reflects that diversity, welcoming people from many nations, cultures, and Christian traditions. We are grateful to gather on Chief Drygeese territory, the traditional land of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation and the North Slave Métis, and we desire to serve our community with humility, hospitality, and the love of Christ.
On a typical Sunday you can expect contemporary worship, practical biblical teaching, opportunities for prayer, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Dress casually or dress up—either way you'll fit right in. We also offer Kingdom Kids for children during the service and would love to help your family feel at home.
Everything we do is shaped by four commitments:
