Melt will begin the Easter sermon series this week (Sunday March 5th).  This weeks' sermon is titled "Easter: Let it change you".

Scripture Reading: Matthew 28:1-6 and 1 Peter 1:3-4

Lenten Lunches at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church every Wednesday at 12 noon. Lunch is by donation.  Melt will be preaching on the 20th March!

Neal Black is coming to Yellowknife from 14-19 March to commission Jabin and Jess Carrasco on Sunday 17 March.  He will be running a workshop with the Guiding Coalition on Saturday 16 March.

Neal loves God and spends as much time as possible with his family. Married to June for almost 40 years, has two married daughters and two incredible grandkids, Jax and Phoenix. He has been a pastor, Christian Bookstore owner, graphic designer, and for the last 18 years has enjoyed developing leaders through training, facilitating workshops and coaching. The joy for Neal comes when he sparks “aha” moments and watches as people get excited about the possibilities and energized by what God has planned for them. Presently Neal is working with Power to Change Ministries as well as Vineyard Canada, where  he engages weekly with pastors and leaders from across Canada. He is on the leadership team with The Table Vineyard church in the Lower Mainland. If he isn’t working with leaders or enjoying family, you’ll probably find Neal sitting in his favourite chair, drinking a chai latte and reading. Neal is a wonderful life coach, friend and mentor to Melt. They serve on various think tanks, the Vineyard National Leadership Team and other forums for Vineyard Canada together.

Saturday 2nd March - The Guiding Coalition team will be meeting from 15h00-19h00 at the church.  More news to follow.

Tax receipts for 2023 will be ready on March 10th.  We will be mailing them out where possible.  Please ensure that your address details are up to date with us. For those that don't have a mailing address, we will have the receipts ready for handout on Sunday March 10th.

The 2023 Summary Update for Young Eagles can be found on the notice board at the church.  Please take the time to look at it and read up on the wonderful work that is being done at the orphanage with your help and generous suppost. Also chat to Bright as he has all the latest information on the orphanage.

Grace and peace.
