Jabin and Jessica Carrasco coordinate our hospitality team. The hospitality team coordinates meals for families where there is a new birth in the home, or bereavement, or illness. We cater for special church events such as our annual Christmas banquet and church breakfasts and lunches. Our decorating team makes sure that our meeting place is decorated for seasonal celebrtions such as Easter, Christmas, Mothers day and more.
The hospitality team serves and loves on the body of Christ, through hospitality and service provision. We see this as an opportunity to partner with the purposes of heaven and to be a tangible reperesentation of Jesus to those around us. We do this by serving one another in our church family and by serving the community of Yellowknife.
Our mandate is to love one another well through serving (1 Pe 4:8-10).
