VNEWS - MAY 10/23On this Sunday 14th May, Mother's Day, Bright will be preaching. Melt and David Ruis will be welcoming Maple Crest Winninpeg into the Vineyard tribe on Sunday. We will be celebrating communion on Sunday and ask our online members to have their elements ready. Last weeks' sermon - By faith from beginning to end - can be heard by clicking the "Listen Now" button below. Dont' forget the Mother's Day Pie and Cake Auction at the church on Friday evening! Spring Clean-Up! Waiting for confirmation from the city, but in anticipation of approved application, we're looking for volunteers to help out May long weekend (May 22). Dates and times will be confirmed - watch VNews and Announcements in church on Sunday. Last year we had two sections, and a group of kids and adults spent many hours tidying up our downtown, chatting with passers-bys and showing we care about our neighbourhood. Java for Jesus will be handing out snacks and coffee in the 50/50 lot Saturday evening of May 27th. In March, 3 volunteers from the outreach spent an hour and a half in -30 windchill handing out coffee tea, and snacks. It was a well received and we plan to keep the visibility and momentum going. Since then, thousands and millions have expressed interest. It is believed that this will facilitate a greater presence of God over the Church and will fulfill Isaiah 62:6-7: New International Version6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night.You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, 7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. We encourage you to commit to pray and fast throughout the next 3 weeks (May 7-28).
